1. Do I have to be present while you're working in my home?
That’s entirely up to you. Many of our clients feel more comfortable being present, especially for the first visit. Others prefer to step out and return later. Either way, we communicate clearly, respect your space, and follow any guidelines you set. We have even had some fall asleep while we get things done. Fine by us! :)
2. How do you handle sentimental items or things I’m unsure about?
With great care and respect. We never discard anything without your approval. Our process includes gentle guidance to help you make decisions — always at your pace, without judgment or pressure. If you are just not ready to part with something, we move on to something else.
3. Are you insured and background-checked?
Yes. We are fully insured and bonded, and all team members undergo background checks and are fingerprinted. Your safety, trust, and comfort are our top priorities. We treat everyone's personal space as our own and how we would want to be treated in the same situation.
4. What does your pricing include? Are there any hidden fees?
We offer clear, upfront project pricing based on your specific needs. No surprise charges. Your quote includes everything we discuss in your consultation, including prep, supplies (if applicable), and clean-up. We do however offer frequently requested add-ons, which are priced and can be seen in the "Services" section of our website.
5. Can you help with hoarding situations or extreme clutter?
Yes - and we approach these situations with deep compassion and absolute discretion. We call this extreme stockpiling. Whether you’re overwhelmed or helping a loved one, we offer step-by-step support to restore peace and functionality without shame or rush.
6. Do you offer help with downsizing or preparing to move?
Absolutely. We can assist with sorting, light packing, light cleaning, and coordinating what goes where. Whether you're moving into a smaller space, senior community, or just simplifying your life, we help make the transition smooth and stress-free.
7. Will you clean after decluttering/organizing, or do I need
to hire someone else?
Light cleaning (clean counters and shelves, sweep and mop) is included as part of most of our organizing and decluttering sessions. If a deeper clean is needed, we can either provide it or recommend a trusted partner - whatever works best for your situation.
8. Is everything confidential? What if I’m embarrassed about
the condition of my home?
Everything is 100% confidential - no exceptions. We’ve seen it all, and we’re here to help, not judge. Our mission is to create a safe, encouraging environment where you can feel at ease and supported every step of the way. You have decided to get help...that's a great step! :)
9. What can I expect during a typical session?
Each visit starts with a quick check-in to review your goals and comfort level. We work at a pace that feels right for you, always asking before moving or discarding anything. After the session, we do light cleaning if needed (clean counters and shelves, sweep and mop) and walk through the progress together. You’ll know what’s happening every step of the way - no surprises.
10. Do you provide before-and-after photos of your work?
Yes - with client's permission, we take before and after photos/videos to share with you. Images are not stored by us, we discard them after 30 days.
11. Do you offer extra services like donation drop-offs or shredding?
Yes, we offer optional add-ons such as shredding. We also have an extensive provider partners list who help with other services like donation drop off, recycling, or something else specific you may need, just ask - we will connect you with someone we trust.
12. Can you suggest products or help make my home safer?
Absolutely. As part of our process, we often notice small improvements that can boost safety or comfort - like adding grab bars, removing trip hazards, or improving lighting. So we created our complimentary 16 point inspection of your home with our services. We are also happy to recommend simple, affordable products or refer you to trusted partners for installations.
